NoraHouse is a dinner program for strangers to gather together and build a community for themselves. NoraHouse was designed to honor my design professor's late wife Nora Richardson. Nora had pride herself on opening up her home to anyone and always treating them as a family and never a stranger. This project is to carry on Nora's legacy by making sure no one ever feels like a stranger

The actual NoraHouse was designed so it could travel to different locations to increase the amount of people that would participate in the dinner. This house was designed using the new technology by Curbed. It is designed with ten-fold engineering for ready-to-use, relocatable structure that self-deploys (in both directions) and can be used for a variety of functions. This house has furniture and appliances built in to make it easy for many NoraHouse dinners.

The NoraHouse playing cards were designed to ask more personal "awkward" questions to immediately break the ice and get people out of their comfort zone and make it easier to start a conversation. These cards are also a keepsake from the dinner for people to hopefully use in other situations and carry one Nora's legacy on their own.
